About me…
I am a fully qualified, accredited and insured canine behaviourist with over fifteen years’ experience in the field. Working alongside many aspects of canine behaviour, specialising in the rehabilitation of aggressive, reactive and fearful dogs who have presented with a bite history to other dogs or humans. Networking with veterinary practices and rescues to assess and rehab dogs. Assessing dogs and providing reports as an expert witness for court cases under The DDA/Control of Dogs Act Scotland. Experience in working with all breeds of dog.
With a background in psychology, I have studied my field for over fifteen plus years to keep up to date with modern day science based behavioural training, studying the cognitive, emotional and behavioural needs of canines. Continuing my professional development through various accredited bodies gaining certificates and workshops with Canine Principles, The British College of Canine Studies, International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants and the Dr Dunbar Academy.
I continue to further my education in animal behaviour and genetics through the Open University studying a BSc Natural Science Honours (Biology), alongside Compass Education Advanced Applied Animal Behaviour diploma, recognised as satisfying the standard of Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
I am a full member of the International Society of Animal Professionals (ISAP) working alongside ambassadors all over the world to improve the existence for animals and abiding by a code of conduct.
I am the founder of Edinburgh and Lothian Lost Dogs, where we help reunite lost and stray dogs with their owners, and help track and search those who have gone into survival mode. We are also a dog rescue, where I provide the hands on assessments and behavioural needs for the dogs, providing foster contracts, adoption contracts and aftercare for the dogs and new owners.
A pet food bank for the homeless/street dogs is also taken direct to the streets here in Edinburgh.

Canine Blog/Canine Behaviour…
Please enjoy the Canine blog articles that are on the site so far. I will be hoping to publish more in the coming weeks. The site is under maintenance so I thank you for your patience.
I will be publishing articles under the Canine Behaviour sub menu too, hoping to help those dealing with issues such as Canine stress, reactivity, a new rescue dog in the home and many more topics.
